Activated Charcoal:

Considered to be one of the most effective absorbent materials available, used in cosmetics to absorb toxins

Aloe Vera:

Heals and repairs skin tissue and improves hydration while offering soothing, anti-inflammatory properties to all skin types. Contains vitamins, minerals and natural enzymes as well as amino acids and carbohydrates.

Clay, bentonite:

A combination of montmorillonite and volcanic ash. Highly absorbent cosmetic clay that draws impurities from the skin, aids in detoxifying skin and removing dead skin cells.

Clay, kaolin:

Mildest of the cosmetic clays, also called China Clay. Suitable for dry and sensitive skin this clay gently cleanses and exfoliates skin without absorbing oils.

Enzymes.Papaya, Pineapple and Pomegranate:

Gentle yet effective form of exfoliation in which enzymes dissolve dead skin cells without irritation. Helps to refine texture and clarity of complexion leaving skin soft, supple and more refined. Great for blemished, mature, sensitive, delicate, irritated, enlarged pores and hyperpigmentation.

Hemp Seed Oil:

All natural and organic, raw, unrefined oil rich in antioxidants with a high level of phenols, amino acids, EFA's- omega-3 and omega-6, phytosterols, phospholipids and minerals. Hemp seed oil is known to be non-comedogenic (will not clog pores) and is easily absorbed by the skin reducing dryness, itchiness and transepidermal water loss helping to create a healthier barrier function. Nutrients found in hemp seed oil help hydrate and soothe skin, reduce inflammation, improve skin texture, balance and regulate oil production making this ingredient useful for many skin types including blemished, mature, sensitive, delicate, dry, oily, normal and irritated.

Honey:

Full of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and enzyme, is soothing to the skin and a natural humectant. Contains emollient properties, making the skin feel softer and smoother, helping to soothe irritated skin. Honey is cleansing and antibacterial. 

Hyaluronic Acid:

Natural protein discovered in 1934 used in personal care. With its unique ability to hold 1000 times is weight in water, Hyaluronic Acid is easily absorbed and plays key role in allowing the skin to retain water. Applied topically Hyaluronic Acid aids in increasing hydration levels while improving barrier function forming an air permeable layer increasing skins elasticity and hydration. 

Kakadu Plum:

Highest known content of Vitamin C of any whole food source. Commonly used in cosmetics for its excellent antioxidant benefits helping to fortify skin with proline, the amino acid responsible for collagen production.

L-Ascorbic Acid:

Water soluble Vitamin C providing skin with potent antioxidants helping to increase collagen production, brighten complexion and aid in inflammation.

MSM (Methylsulfonymethane):

A naturally occurring nutrient found in plants (including fruits and vegetables), meats and diary. Odorless and tasteless in its water soluble crystalline purified form, MSM supplies sulfur to the body which aids in healing and muscle relaxation. MSM feeds formation of collagen and elastin, contains anti-inflammatory and anit-microbial properties, reduces cross-linking between cells and helps produce healthy tissues.

Rose:

Used historically to soothe stressful states of being. Applied topically roses can also be used to calm stressed skin.
